Me
My name is Michael Hornung and I live in Seattle, Washington. I've been working leather since early 2007. My interest in leather craft originated from another passion—knife collecting. I found myself with several knives and no quality sheaths in which to carry them! Working with leather in that capacity opened my eyes to the creative vision that goes into any successful leather project.
After making several knife sheaths I decided I enjoy this craft so much I want to make other leather projects and further develop my skills in the trade.
I have a Baccalaureate in English Literature from the University of Washington, and I have a day job that has nothing at all to do with the leather trades.
